Update - Transition of property and tenancy management services in remote communities

The National Partnership on Remote Housing has now been signed by the Australian and Northern Territory Governments, providing $550 million in funding over five years for housing in remote communities. The agreement expires on 30 June 2023.

The Northern Territory Government will retain responsibility of remote housing property and tenancy management services for all 73 remote communities and Alice Springs town camps, including those identified for transition to the Australian Government in March 2019.

Advice regarding procurement for future property and tenancy management services will be forthcoming over the next few weeks.
