Our Homes. focuses on local decision making, engagement and planning. It also includes a focus on local participation to deliver the work, to promote local economic development and develop local skills to build and manage housing.

National partnership agreement on remote indigenous housing (NPARIH)

The National Partnership Agreement is a ten-year remote Indigenous housing strategy aimed at: significantly reducing severe overcrowding, increasing the supply of new houses and improving the condition of existing ones and ensuring that rental houses are well maintained and managed in remote Indigenous communities.

Transition of property and tenancy management services in remote communities

The National Partnership on Remote Housing has now been signed by the Australian and Northern Territory Governments, providing $550 million in funding over five years for housing in remote communities. The agreement expires on 30 June 2023.
