Room to Breathe work continues in remote communities

Our staff travelled to Areyonga located 240 kilometres West of Alice Springs, to provide residents with a follow up visit on Room to Breathe work last week.

As part of this visit, residents were presented with design options and plans showing possible extensions to their existing homes which were based on previous engagement meetings with residents.

Staff met with tenants of each household to receive feedback about the plans and discuss any accommodation needs when works commence.

Staff from our Capability Development team accompanied the Remote Program Delivery Office, Aboriginal Interpreter Services and our regional office staff to gain on the ground experience.
